Regular flying in the clinics training room is an important part of the treatment of our feathered patients. The exercise promotes blood circulation and prevents "stiffening" of the joints in patients who are forced to stay with us for an extended period. Together with occasional wing massages, flight training forms the physiotherapeutic part of the treatment. Additionally, observation of flight patterns and condition also serves diagnostic purposes, so that the flight trainers have a very important, responsible, yet comparatively easy-to-learn task.
