Hygiene

As in clinics for human patients, maintaining hygiene standards plays a central role at the Swift Rescue Center. Poor hygiene can not only damage the patients' plumage, but can also allow germs to spread, which in the worst case can cause patients to die.

Especially during the peak season, when up to 150 swifts are being cared for in the centre at the same time, these hygiene standards cannot be met "on the side" by the feeding helpers. Cleaning the Curver boxes as described here is one of the key tasks. But surgical instruments and feeding tweezers also have to be cleaned and sterilised, and the rooms of the centre have to be cleaned too.

Special requirements: reliability, thoroughness
